Alfredo Baz Ayala's Obituary
Alfredo Baz Ayala, beloved father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, born October 30 1973 passed away July 9 2025 at the age of 52, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his children.
Born in Mexico, he came to the United States at a young age, carrying with him the spirit of his homeland and the determination to build a better life. He worked hard his entire life—not just to provide, but to create a home filled with warmth, humor, and love.
Above all else, he was a father. He lived for his children and found his greatest joy in them. He raised four daughters: Alicia, Gloria, Elizabeth, and Courtney (his stepdaughter whom he loved as his own). He was there through every stage of life—from chasing them around the house and making them laugh with his pranks, to being a steady presence even after life’s changes and challenges.
His humor was legendary—a mix of silliness and surprise. He loved to scare people just to see them jump, then laugh until he couldn’t breathe. Behind his playful nature was a strong, quiet soul who cared deeply for those he loved. Even when he didn’t have the words, his actions spoke volumes.
He is preceded in death by his infant son, Lucas, his grandson Carter, and his parents, who remained close to his heart throughout his life. Though he once dreamed of resting in Mexico, after losing his mother and father, it became more important for him to be close to his daughters.
He is survived by his daughters Alicia, Gloria, Elizabeth, and step daughter Courtney; his grandson Cooper; his many siblings; and all those who knew and loved him. His face—often unreadable and serious, but never without love—lives on in his daughters, passed down through what they lovingly call the “Ayala eyebrows.”
He will be remembered for his love, his laughter, his quiet strength, and the deep, unshakable bond he shared with his children.
